Neighbours, Friends & Families Training Resources

Neighbours, Friends & Families Introductory Training
Neighbours, Friends & Families (NFF) self-paced training is designed to make Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) part of our everyday conversations while providing practical tools to empower anyone and everyone to recognize the warning signs of IPV, respond safely and supportively, and refer to find help in the community.
Grounded in research and community-based practice, NFF’s approach to IPV public awareness and prevention begins with NFF Introductory Training, which provides the basic knowledge needed to foster everyday prevention practices at home, in the workplace, and in all community spaces where we interact, connect, and play.
Extending Prevention into Online Spaces
Through a partnership with Christchurch Call Foundation, NFF is making two bilingual online training resources available across Canada: one designed to help parents, educators, and others who support and interact with youth, and another designed specifically for digital community moderators. Together, these resources build knowledge and skills to recognize, respond to, and help prevent online harms.
