Neighbours, Friends and Families

Neighbours, Friends and Families is a public education campaign to raise awareness of the signs of intimate partner violence so that those close to someone at risk or to someone using abusive behaviours can help. It engages the power of everyday relationships to help keep people and their children safe.

Survivors and family members of those who have been victims of domestic violence / intimate partner violence (IPV) often find it healing to share their stories. If you would like to share your story of domestic violence/IPV, we can offer you a safe and supportive space to do so. If you would like to write about your own experience, we can respectfully and gently work with you to craft a piece that you are comfortable sharing. Click here to learn more about how you can share your story.
