Neighbours, Friends and Families (NFF)

Everyone has a role to play in ending intimate partner violence (IPV).

Neighbours, Friends and Families (NFF) is a trusted public education campaign and a leading source of intimate partner violence (IPV) prevention education in Ontario. NFF provides information on recognizing the warning signs of IPV, how to respond safely, and connect individuals—both those at risk and those using abusive behaviours—with appropriate supports. Grounded in research and informed by community expertise, our approach is designed to reach people where they live, work, and gather. By engaging the power of everyday relationships, NFF empowers neighbours, friends, family members, co-workers, and communities to take meaningful action to prevent violence, provide support and promote safety.
